Restoration

This department is aimed at protecting and restoring of precious Iranian written heritage including manuscripts and documents.  Due to the degradation and exhaustion of these works, this department was established in 1990 to restore them. It consists of the restoration lab, the restoration workshop, and the section of binding books and periodicals.
